Finding My Way Back Behind the Lens

There are some dreams that never truly leave us.

No matter how much life changes, no matter how much time passes, they remain quietly waiting for the right season to return.

Photography has been one of those dreams for me.

For years, my camera was rarely far from reach. Through Bridget Nicole Photography, I had the privilege of documenting families, children, milestones, and moments that would never exist in quite the same way again. Every session reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place: not because of perfect poses or beautiful locations, but because of the stories hidden within them.

Then life happened.

Like many people, I found myself walking through seasons I never expected. Seasons of change, challenge, growth, healing, and rediscovery. During that time, my camera became quieter. The business I had built was placed on hold, and my creative voice became something I rarely heard.

But even during those years away, photography never truly left my heart.

I've always believed that photography is about more than simply taking pictures. It's about preserving feeling. It's about holding onto the moments that pass too quickly. It's about creating something that allows us to revisit a season of life long after it has become a memory.

And now, after years away, I find myself returning to the very thing that first inspired me.

Not as the same person I was before.

But as someone who has lived more, learned more, and understands even more deeply the value of preserving life's meaningful moments.

As I rebuild Bridget Nicole Photography, my vision remains rooted in what has always mattered most: authentic connection, cinematic storytelling, and imagery that feels timeless. Images that don't simply show what a moment looked like, but remind you what it felt like.

This new chapter is not about starting over.

It's about starting again with purpose.

And to those who are just discovering my work for the first time, welcome. I'm so glad you're here.

The camera is back in my hands.
